Q. Does Book Deal Finder sell college text books?
A. Book Deal Finder doesn't sell text books directly. We're a college text book shopping service that helps you find the best deals on books from a number of book sellers. Book Deal Finder simply provides a great search tool and price comparison engine to help you get exactly the right book and save time and money in the process!

Q. Are the text books on Book Deal Finder new or used?
A. Both! When you search for text books on Book Deal Finder and you compare prices, you'll see selections of both used and new books for sale. You'll also see the condition for each book where that information is available. That way, you'll get the best book for the lowest price! We're now also connecting you to a source for book rentals! Whenever a book is available for rental, you'll see that category in your price comparison results.

Q. How does BookDealFinder.com work?
A. BookDealFinder.com is a free service that searches the Internet for the lowest prices on new and used books. Book Deal Finder doesn't sell books; we search millions of new and used books, thousands of sellers, and dozens of bookstores to help you find the best prices on books.

Q. Does Book Deal Finder search for books other than college text books?
A. Yes!  You can search for and buy virtually any book which is available today.

Q. How do I find my text book?
A. You can search for your book by title, author, keyword, or ISBN Number.  You can browse by category, though that isn't the quickest search method.  If you have the ISBN number, that's the fastest way to find exactly the book you need.  We've also provided more extensive search help for you.

Q. How do I order text books?
A. After you find your text book(s) and compare prices, you will see a table with all the stores that have your book. Just click on the "Buy Now" button for the store you want to purchase from; a new window will open with the merchant's site. From there, you just add your book to the cart and check out.

Q. How do I pay for my text  books?
A. You can pay for your text books with a major credit card like Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Some stores also accept alternative payments including debit cards, online checks, and PayPal. Please see the partner bookstore website for exact payment methods.

Q. Is my text book in stock?
A. Book Deal Finder displays the real-time availability of your text books. Generally, only books which are available will be displayed, although Book Deal Finder cannot guarantee stock status for all book sellers.

Q. Do I have to pay sales tax?
A. Sales tax payments depend on two factors: what state you are shipping the books to, and where the books are shipped from. To see if you have to pay sales tax on your order, after you compare prices and click through to a book seller, read about tax policies on the book seller website.

Q. I can't find my text book. What should I do?
A. If you can't locate your text books by title or author, try searching by ISBN number. If you still can't find your book, then try searching through one of our rare and used book partners: Alibris, AbeBooks, or Powell's. We have millions of books in our database so if you can't find your text books, chances are it's not in print anymore.

Q. How much is shipping?
A. Shipping costs vary depending on which bookstore you buy from, how many books you buy, and if you select standard or express shipping. Standard shipping rates of most booksellers will display when you run a price comparison on Book Deal Finder. To figure express shipping costs, or costs for shipping multiple books, please consult the shipping information page on your college text books seller of choice.

Q. When will my order ship?
A. We include general book availability in our price comparisons, when it is available. Hover over the "notes" icon in the center column of the price comparison page for more information. College text books listed as "ready to ship" will ship the same day if you meet the order deadline, books listed as "ships 2 - 3 days" will ship within 2 - 3 business days, books listed as "ships 3 days or more" won't ship for at least 3 business days, and books listed as "unavailable" are currently not available from that particular bookstore.  If you have questions about shipping, please contact your bookseller.

Q. Can I get express shipping?
A. Almost all of our bookstore partners offer express shipping. After you compare prices for your book and click through to the book seller's site, just select your desired shipping method (ground, 2nd day air, or overnight) from the shipping options.

Q. What about international shipping?
A. The majority of our bookstore partners ship internationally. If you need international shipping, after comparing your book prices and clicking through to a text book seller, select international shipping from the shipping options to calculate worldwide shipping costs.

Q. How do I track my order?
A. Contact the bookstore partner where you placed your order to find out your order status.

Q. How do I cancel my order?
A. To cancel your order, contact the bookstore you bought from before your order ships.

Q. What if I need to return a book?
A. Simply contact the bookseller from whom you purchased your textbook. Most resellers have great return policies, as long as the book is returned within their allotted time period and in the original purchase condition. Please do not return books to Book Deal Finder since we do not stock or sell books directly.

Q. An item is missing from my shipment.
A. If you are missing anything from your shipment, contact the bookstore you bought from to report missing items. Make sure you keep your packing list to verify that you are missing items.

Q. I never received my order. What do I do?
A. If you never received your order, contact the bookstore you bought from to report the issue right away.

Q. Will Book Deal Finder send spam or sell my e-mail address?
A. Your privacy is safe with us.  Book Deal Finder will never share or sell your information.  We may send an e-mail to you on occasion, but you can always unsubscribe.  Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
