Reader Reviews

★★★★Ben Alderson

Read this whole book today in one sitting for the 'not letting go of a book' challenge for the booktube a thonI LOVED how saucy this book was. It fitted perfectly into the story and was the cherry on top of this dark world that Aurora has been introduced into. I loved the characters i needed to love and hated others. i need to read the rest of this series!

Aurora Sky (Aurora Sky: Vampire Hunter #1) by Nikki Jefford is a different kind of vampire story. Aurora is a teen that dies in a car crash and is brought back by a group (government?) that changed her blood that made her blood poison to vampires. She has to be a vampire hunter or she doesn't get the shot a month to keep her alive. Too bad the guy she meets and falls in love with is a vampire. Fun read.

Not my cup of tea I'm afraid. I made the mistake of thinking it was an adult book because is says 18+ but it's all set in high school and there's nothing I hate more than petty high school squabbles. Sorry to say I won't be reading book 2. So disappointing.
