Amber Richards has created a wonderful book to use to teach young children about colors and shapes. She includes the basic shapes and some others that children will love to learn, as they learn about their world. This is a wonderful book to use to teach preschool age children pre-math skills before they go to kindergarten. Shapes & Colors for Children is a simple but effective tool to use to teach about colors and shapes. I highly recommend this book for parents and teachers of preschool age chi
Vivid colors and clearly explained shapes displayed one per page. There are tips for parents at the end. Since the book is for young children and toddlers, I would love to see this book in cloth or as a boardbook so it would last longer through all those hand to mouth activities toddlers do. I am happy to have the book and started using it with my 9 month old granddaughter today.
Great ebook to teach young children their shapes and colors. I love the fact that it goes into more advanced shapes and colors too, for they tend to be difficult to find. This is the age that children learn quickly and they are interested in these.
