Great Start to a Series!I truly enjoyed the fresh perspective of a youth who never knew anything but a world filled with zombies - or Trippers as they are renewed in this novel. The main character, Josh, lives with his Mom and Dad in a homestead type environment. Luckily, across the way he had his best friend Trey, who had a larger family, prospering as best they can in a harsh territory. Interesting and well written story from a different slant.This was my first book from this author and I must say I enjoyed it very much. I found it descriptive and well written. From the perspective of a kid who has never know anything but the apocalyptic environment the writer has tied it all together in a very readable way.
