About the Author: Aniesha Brahma knew she wanted to be a writer since she was six years old. She was schooled in Dolna Day School and went on to pursue B.A., M.A., and M.Phil in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur Univeristy. She currently lives in Kolkata, with her family and five pet cats. She compiled and edited the 10 volumes series, 'Children's Classic Stories' with love and great efforts.
Quite enjoying my time reading this eventho I have to restrain myself from rolling my eyes everytime that 'they're married and live happily ever after' popped up. In this book, there's another Snow White. Yes, that Snow White who held the 'beauty standard' (like, duh). Eventho some of the stories are meh for me, but there are Thumbelina, The Little Mermaid, and The Ugly Duckling that caught my attention. Those three are the stories that were a bit sad and... Idk, depressing? Especially The Ugly
