Noah Goats wrote a very, very good novel. I enjoyed it tremendously. Mr. Goats, a voracious reader, has written a book about not writing a book. It’s in parts funny, sad, outrageous and heartwarming, always with an undercurrent of self-aware honesty and basic kindness and decency. Think a Nicholas Baker/Kurt Vonnegut mashup.
