Scared of Love (Bellfrey Romance)

This book was a sweet holiday romance. I usually don't see many books that are set around Halloween and Fall. Most books skip straight to Christmas. I found the change to be refreshing.I thought the book was adorable. I actually would have liked it to be longer. I felt like things moved a little too quickly and some parts need to be fleshed out a little more. It didn't distract from the story however. I still found myself grinning like an idiot and wishing the characters would figure things out

Ms. Kaye is a wonderful author and writes really sweet romances that give you all the feels. This book was no different. Although a shorter story, it still leaves you feeling satisfied. It's an adorable, clean romance set around the time of Halloween, which you typically don't see a lot of, so that was kind of different - but in a good way! Scared to Love by Sophie Kaye is a fun quick read. At the same time the author brings up a subject that affects many people - are we really ready to love and what is holding us back. The story is set in a small town and the main female character is a lovely woman who doesn't want to leave, has a job she really likes but has problems with finding a steady boyfriend.
