These stories are intended to be light-hearted and funny and most importantly the stories engage young readers to be a part of the story itself. Another fun and simple story with great illustrationsThis was another simple yet fun story that has my daughter turning page after page on my KU. My daughter loves it when I make sounds so I love that he incorporates these into the story, I recommend these as nice short reads that have bright colorful pages and are interactive for the kids to answer and play along.
I wanted to like this more than I did.I'm a huge fan of The Monster at the End of this Book. I think it's quite possibly the greatest children's picture book ever made. At least, I've yet to find one to top it. And I generally enjoy other authors/writers' renditions of that style of fourth-wall-breaking picture book.But this one is just too similar to really be considered a new take on the format.
