The latest Nocturnal book starts fast and doesn't let up, just as we were promised at the end of book three. It's fast-paced, indicative of how the story has gone since the relatively slow-burn character piece that was the first books.There are a few more twists and turns, some great subplots, and a conclusion to a thread running since earlier in the series.
Oh my god I just want to squeal like a teenager by how much I loved this book. Horror is back on the menu, everyone! And this book takes zero punches. One thing I have been wanting to do for over a year now is go back and review all of the Nocturnal series.
