The Polish Virginian would become someone new and different, someone he had no idea he could be: John Bober would become... The White Jaguar.Arkady Fielder (1894-1985) was a Polish writer, journalist, and adventurer. He wrote 32 books translated into 23 languages. He traveled broadly but had a special attachment to the region of the Orinoco where he returned repeatedly, and where, for some time, he lived among the Arawak Indians of the Orinoco Delta. And from them he first heard the tale of the mysterious White Jaguar.Come on now, take a walk on the wild side. Pick up your copy today.UPDATE: Readers of The White Jaguar have been asking me for an audiobook, but to record a long saga like this is a big investment for a tiny publisher like me. This is why, I was very curious to try Virtual Voice narration and totally surprised by its quality. I have worked very hard to edit the audiobook thoroughly and to make it as good as the system allows and I can say I am very happy with the result. I am pretty sure you will like it, too!

TROPICAL ISLAND SURVIVAL Much like the novel Robinson Crusoe, the storyline is about the challenges of being stranded on a tropical island, but this story is more graphic and compelling…. This is part one in a series of five episodes. If you enjoy reading about pirates and Buccaneers from centuries ago, you’ll find this to be a fascinating and entertaining novel.

The Robinson Crusoe of his timeLike many of my generation, I read Daniel Defoe's story of Robinson Crusoe as a youngster, and fell in love with the tale of the castaway, his man Friday, and their deserted island adventures. This starts out much the same: a renegade from a rebellion in Colonial Virginia finds himself shipwrecked somewhere in the islands of the Spanish Main. The details are many and marvelous, the characters vividly portrayed, and there is high drama, adventure, and perils galore.

First volume of a Five part series about an american settler marooned in the Caribbean. The character allegedly read Robinson Crusoe and much of his time on the island is compared to the other famous castaway novel. It was a nice adventure novel. The only problem I had was how long it took the main character to figure out how to make fire.
