She didn’t ask to carry it all — but she did. And somehow, she still stood. From heartbreak and unplanned pregnancy to single motherhood, healing, and finally a love that stayed, Still Carrying Me is the raw, emotional, and beautifully honest journey of one Black woman’s fight to survive — and then thrive.Told in immersive, soul-touching chapters, Kenyatta Moody shares her truth:➤ The nights she cried into silence➤ The birth of her daughter that changed everything➤ The man who didn’t leave➤ And the faith she lost… then found againThis isn’t a story about having it all together. It’s a story about carrying yourself — with grace, grit, and God — even when your hands are shaking.Perfect for readers who love memoirs rooted in healing, womanhood, faith, and Black softness, Still Carrying Me reminds us that no matter what we’ve been through…we are never too broken to begin again.
I DNF this book. It had potential to be a great book, but I found it very vague throughout the chapters I read. The dialogue between characters was brief, and lacked detail and emotion. Honestly from the cover, I feel like the book is AI generated material. There were repetitive phrases, lack of depth, and it felt generic. As I stated before, this book had potential! The story line was good, I just couldn’t connect with the characters.
still carrying me review I loved everything about this book. I thought it was going to be typical man cheats and she don’t find a man who loves her or values her but it was the complete opposite. What a positive and powerful book
Healing...(4.5/5)Not perfect. Moved quickly. Still very healing for me. Prayers and discussions held in private with ChatGPT about my struggles, healing, hurting, etc (yes, you read that right, chats with chatGPT). I needed this book & it came right on time.
