Jacob is resting on his family's off-grid lake property when his commission calls him to go and protect Dr Nikita Winter. I was so thrilled to see a new series from an author I lost contact with for a while and could fall into her book of suspense with a touch of romance.Finally screwing up the courage to have a sauna nude while in the Swedish countryside while on holiday, Nikki is rudely interrupted and forced to hike out of the snow covered icy terrain. The why and wherefore will be left up to you, the next reader, to discover. You will not be disappointed. I have already purchased the second in this series.
Nikki and Jacob escapeNikki and Jacob are running from a killer who offed her best friends while on a job in Sweden. The escape to the States where they are assured they'll have FBI protection. The only thing wrong with that is, they're kept in seclusion and not allowed communication with the outside world.Meanwhile, they fall in love, of course.
