After a two-year prison sentence for hacking credit card companies and stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars to cover the debts of his ugly divorce, convicted hacker Amir Cohen is ready to start over. But with no job or dating prospects in sight, he is sure he is destined to live the rest of his life broke, alone, and unemployed.Just when things start turning around for Amir – he is offered a job by a prestigious security firm and he meets May, a sweet school counsellor willing to take a chance on him – the death threats begin to arrive. And with the police reluctant to believe an ex-con and investigate further, Amir must take matters into his own hands. As empty threats escalate into violence, and a brutal murder stops his plans in their tracks, Amir must use his wits to find the killer before he’s next. But with a long list of enemies, from victims of his crimes to fellow inmates, anyone could be behind the attacks, and trust could be the deadliest mistake of all.Unpaid Dues is a fast-paced, unputdownable psychological crime thriller where time served doesn’t always mean you get a clean slate.
